A New Concept for Stringed Instruments

Most all Violin and Viola rosins are manufactured from basic tree resins with little or no special additives. Rosin color can vary from the lightest amber to a darker color depending on resin harvest time. These rosins are very hard, and offer little adjustment for the professional player. Salzman Symphony offers three variations for the violin/viola player. Slight differences in hardness and tack, although slight, are available in our rosin line. A unique white leather like zipper container identifies this rosin series. The container is available with black lettering on white or white lettering on black. The rosin scale number appears on the bottom of these containers.

Female players often prefer the white container, while male players often prefer the black container.
